Journey Aboard the Unkraut with Open Art Space  - Give Something Back To Berlin

On Tuesday, June 18th, many from the Open Hearts Space community went aboard the Unkraut for an afternoon filled with relishing a breezy summer day, creating art with one another, and even dancing in the rain. There was joy in each other’s company, experiencing moments together away from our regular lives by painting, eating, talking, feeling the boat glide down the river, and building community.

In the heart of Neukölln, on Wednesday, 19th of June, the GSBTB family and local community gathered for a summer celebration. Significantly, this event coincided with World Refugee Week, a fact deeply acknowledged throughout the night, as it was also a time to commemorate those who have had to leave their nations under dire circumstances and to provide channels of support and connection.
